We were finally able to make enough progress on our Little House in the Village to have an ‘operating’ Half Bathroom downstairs.  This bathroom is on the first floor and replaces a very ‘unhealthy’ 3/4 bath that was in the house when we bought it.  I don’t have any photos handy of the original bath, but, suffice it to say, at some point the pipes had frozen, burst, and, consequently flooded the bath with mildew spawning moisture.

Also, the ‘original’ 3/4 bath occupied what had originally been the hallway in the old house.  This was ALL nuked as we restored the house and we now have this nice half bath, tucked neatly beneath the stairwell with a wide and open Hallway that goes the fully length of the house.

New floor, new room, new ‘quiet‘ ventilator, new plumbing and NO mold!

Still waiting on the door, but, what the heck, we’re not ones for formality around here…
