Drill Press Table, new tool!

I’ve added a new table top to the new Drill Press.  This top is made by Woodpecker and provides a solid fence and T-Tracks for hold downs, stops, and miscellaneous other jigs.  It also expands the width of the original table by about 4 inches and the depth by a couple of inches.  This top should perform well for woodworking projects, especially where there are multiple holes with the same setup or the setup requires complicated jigging.

Note I also aligned the LASER guides that came with the Delta Drill Press.  I originally thought these were too fru-fru and wouldn’t be useful, but, while I was installing the new top, I’d thought I’d, at least, set them up and give them a try.

Power Wagon! New tool has been added.

We got a new tool for yard work today.  It’s a Power Wagon from DR Power, in Vergennes, VT.  Essentially it’s a powered wheel barrow, but much more stable due to its two large knobby wheels in front and its weighted frame (it weighs 330 lbs unloaded).  Its powered by a 190cc engine, has electric start, AND a powered tilt.  It can haul up to 800 lbs on level ground and up to 400 lbs on up to a 20 degree slope.

Since the House in the Woods has lots of woods, hills, and undulations (not to mention wet and loamy soil), this will come in handy as we haul landscaping in and debris out…

Workshop Bathroom finally has door.

Thinking that the bashful have avoided visiting the Workshop due to its ‘open’ bathroom accommodations, I have installed a ‘proper’ bathroom door.  All are welcome!  :-)

Welcome to the 'Private' room...

Actually, the way the tall bookcase ‘crowds’ the bathroom door molding, I had to install the door prior to loading up the bookcase.  Now I can begin unpacking my office… YAY!
